Sara is a Ugandan development and research professional with a strong background in child development, community empowerment, and social research. For the past 15 years she has supported Uwezo Uganda as a Consultant Trainer conducting learning assessments, data collection, training, supervision, coordination, and reporting. Sara has worked at Food for the Hungry International/Uganda as a Child Development Officer, where she served for 10 years in promoting skills development for children, successfully mobilising donor support that led to the construction of four vocational institutions. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication (Major) and Community Development (Minor), Daystar University, Nairobi, Kenya, Postgraduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management, Uganda Management Institute and Certificate in Child Counselling, SOGTOP, Kenya.
