Sabiiti, a graduate of Makerere University in Education, offers 22 years of experience in program implementation and administration across diverse CSOs and development organisations, focusing on research, education, health and policy. His background includes roles as a Community Development worker, Trainer of Trainers, Researcher, and Programs Manager, alongside experience as a School Teacher and Diocesan Education Coordinator. Sabiiti has contributed to education research with Uwezo at Twaweza and Uwezo Uganda, including Annual Learning Assessments, ALiVE, Foundational learning, Pupil absenteeism and Assessment of a community-led learning initiative. In humanitarian services, he served as a Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Coordinator and Trainer, with expertise in emergency response, project monitoring, community mobilisation, and project management. His qualifications encompass research methodologies, strategic planning, community participation, and project management. Currently the Team Lead at Kitara Foundation, Sabiiti previously supported Uwezo Uganda as a Consultant National Trainer, and held roles with the Church of Uganda and Samaritan’s Purse International Relief. He possesses strong skills in adult training, collaboration, leadership, innovation, communication, and project management, including M&E and fundraising. He is proficient in various research interventions with direct experience in planning and conducting community-based and household-based research programs.
