Benard Madanda

Madanda is a consultant trainer and researcher with Uwezo Uganda. Previously he worked as a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) intern in 2021 supporting in Uwezo Uganda Data management. He later worked as a Program Assistant, Data Management and MEL Officer. Prior to that, he worked with Makerere University Centre for Planning and Applied Statistics (CPAS) and Measure Africa Uganda Ltd as a researcher on projects not Limited to: Study of Impact Evaluation for Development Response to Displacement Impacts Project (DRDIP) refugee hosting Districts , Sustainable Livelihood Pilot- SLP under Northern Uganda Social Action Fund (NUSAF3), End Line Impact Evaluation of School Facilities Grant (SFG) on Access and Academic Achievement in Primary Education in Uganda. He participated in Uwezo Basic Learning Assessments of 2021, 2024, Writing Assessment of 2022, Young Person’s Assessment of 2022, Efficacy of Uwezo Communication Messages, Action for Life Skills and Values in East Africa (ALiVE), PAL-ELANA among others, where he supported its processes, assessed, supervised, and monitored the assessments as well as supporting data management. Madanda holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Statistics from Kampala International University in Uganda. He exhibits profound experience and skills in data management using digital platforms and statistical applications for data like ODK, KOBO collect, Survey CTO, Stata, SPSS, Excel, and Power BI.
