Jocelyn is a researcher and trainer with over 18 years of experience in conducting research and evaluation, both quantitative and qualitative. For the past 15 years she has supported Uwezo Uganda as a consultant in conducting learning assessments, data collection, training, supervision, coordination, and reporting. Throughout her career, she has successfully undertaken numerous research and evaluation assignments with a range of reputable organisations, including Twaweza East Africa, Uganda National NGO Forum, Aga Khan Foundation, Mott MacDonald (in collaboration with Cambridge Education), The Challenge Initiative East Africa (TCI), Jhpiego, Judicial Service Commission (JSC), Tango Consults, ActionAid, and Johns Hopkins University Centre for Communication Programs (JHU-CCP), among others. She has also contributed to early grade literacy initiatives, conducting Early Grade Reading Assessments (EGRA) with Research Triangle International (RTI) and the Literacy and Retention Activity (LARA). Jocelyn holds a Bachelor of Adult and Community Education, along with several certificates in research ethics and learning assessments. She is deeply passionate about research and committed to community engagement.
