Emmanuel is a Social Worker and research practitioner with over 23 years of hands-on involvement in both qualitative and quantitative research across Uganda, Kenya, and South Sudan. He has supported Uwezo Uganda as a consultant Trainer/Research Associate since 2013. Emmanuel has previously worked as a data collector, report writer, team leader and coordinator of research teams with various reputable organisations like USAID (MSH), World Bank/NORC at University of Chicago, Twaweza East Africa, ActionAid, International Gender Research Consultancy (IGRC), AMICAAL among many others. Emmanuel has vast knowledge in conducting FGDs and KIIs, KAPs, data quality assurance checks, evaluation studies, EA mapping, household listing and sampling, training of Research Assistants and Associates, designing and reviewing tools, facilitation of review meetings, coordination of fieldwork activities and management of field teams and data. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences from Makerere University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management from Uganda Management Institute and is enrolled in a Masters in Management Studies at Uganda Management Institute.
