Simon Peter is a seasoned Monitoring and Evaluation (M and E) Specialist, Researcher, and Statistician with extensive experience in evidence generation, data analysis, and evaluation capacity strengthening. He has over 15 years working experience in social research in the areas of education, human rights, healthcare delivery, livelihoods, child protection, WASH, GBV etc. He has directly worked and conducted consultancy assignments with various international and national organisations such as USAID, UNDP’s UNFPA, DFID funded projects, GIZ, Uwezo Uganda, HRCU, UHRC & ACTV, UGANET/HRAPF,AMICAALL, GWED-G/Tallawah Women’s Trust/University of Nottingham, Swiss Philanthropic Foundation/Africa Water Solutions, and Nurture Africa among others. He is skilled and knowledgeable in a range of advanced research and evaluation methodologies (quantitative, qualitative, participatory, application of quasi-experimental and non-experimental evaluation designs) and designing M and E tools, plans, frameworks, etc. His technical expertise spans a wide range of tools and platforms including but not limited to Advanced Excel, SPSS, STATA, Tableau, Power BI, Kobo Toolbox, Google Apps, and graphic designing using adobe suit (Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign). He is an active member of Uganda Evaluation Association and Africa Evaluation Association. He holds a BSC Educ (Hons), M. A Human Rights and Ethics and PGD in M and E
