Robert is a seasoned development consultant with over 13 years of professional experience in strategic planning, research, advocacy, and capacity building across Uganda and sub-Saharan Africa. His expertise spans a range of sectors, including education, health, forestry, governance, and citizen engagement. Robert has led and contributed to numerous evaluations, learning assessments, and strategic development initiatives for reputable organisations such as GIZ, Twaweza East Africa, CARE International Somalia, ActionAid Uganda, Uwezo, Save the Children, and the World Bank. He holds a Master’s degree in Forestry and a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management, complemented by specialised training in research ethics, data analysis, and participatory methodologies. Robert is known for his ability to manage large research teams, develop tools, conduct field supervision, and communicate findings to influence policy and practice. His career reflects a strong commitment to empowering communities, promoting evidence-informed policy-making, and strengthening local governance. Whether conducting evaluations, training stakeholders, or developing strategic plans, Robert brings a practical, results-driven approach that ensures impactful and sustainable outcomes.
