Rebecca Povec Pagel is a Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning, and Assessment specialist with over a decade of experience in the international education sector. As a Data Management Consultant with Uwezo Uganda, she supports the organization’s assessment, data, and monitoring and evaluation work. Her professional interests include educational assessment, disability data, and quantitative approaches to evaluation and research. Previously, Rebecca worked at the USAID Center for Education and the Education Development Center after beginning her career as a secondary school teacher. She has an M.A. in International Relations and International Economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) as well as an M.A. in English from the University of Rochester.
