Godfrey is a professional, non-practicing secondary school teacher with over 15 years of experience in the design and management of educational assessments. As an independent researcher, he has worked extensively on both qualitative and quantitative surveys, with a strong focus on the education sector. Since 2019, Godfrey has been supporting Uwezo Uganda as Consultant national trainer and has been actively involved in the organisation’s national learning assessments since their inception. He has held key roles, including Consultant Regional Coordinator and Trainer. Additionally, he has contributed to various Uwezo Uganda projects such as ALiVE, PAL–ELANA, the UNESCO Spotlight Series, the Refugee Study, the Community-Led Learning Assessment (CLL), and studies on absenteeism and non-enrolment, among others.
