Judith Nyakaisiki Tumusiime

She is the Communications Officer and  HR Associate at Uwezo Uganda, a not-for-profit organization working to promote equitable quality education in Uganda and beyond through research, learning assessments, innovations, partnerships and advocacy. Previously she was the Assistant Communications officer of Uwezo at Twaweza East Africa. Judith is currently responsible for the effective communication of Uwezo assessment results between citizens and policy makers; raising the profile of Uwezo Uganda amongst various stakeholders and communicating Uwezo developments to the wider community through media engagements. Previously, Judith worked with Barclays Bank Uganda (2007-2009) and Daily Monitor newspaper where she gained skills in data management, customer care, report writing and critical analysis. Judith is a graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Literature, Linguistics and Communication Skills (Hons) from Makerere University in Uganda. She has particular interest in communication for change to improve the lives of ordinary citizens.
